The YMCA Child Care staff is excited about our recent relocation.
We are now a part of the main YMCA Campus at 1701 S. Eighth Ave. E. The relocation of our childcare facility was made possible through the generous donation from Nancy and the late E.K. Shaw. YMCA Child Care will continue to offer full-day child care for children ages 6 weeks to pre-kindergarten in a newly remodeled facility.
Child care is available from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday year round. We provide an environment to make early learning years a success within a childdirected environment.

:: YMCA Summer Day Camp ::
The YMCA Summer Day Camp will be located at the Newton YMCA,1701 S. Eighth Ave. E. Day Camp offers summer fun for children that have completed kindergarten through age 12.
Campers will be able to participate in weekly field trips, outdoor events, indoor swimming, and many arts and crafts within a child-directed environment. These activities allow campers to have the best summer experience possible and also strengthens children by focusing on the YMCA core values – caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
