Using a variety of materials and a non-sewing technique, class members will make three cute embellished purses, including a Denim Pocket Purse, Felt Purse and Tote Purse.

Using cotton blend material and a non-sewing technique cover a journal that can be used as a journal or scrapbook.

Learn how to make a variety of the flowers and vases that will brighten your day. The best thing is that these flowers stay beautiful for a long time. Once you learn how to make them you can make more to share with family and friends.

Learn a variety of techniques while creating yummy art. Several projects will involve simple cake decorating. Everything is edible and you actually get to play with your food. The best part is, the mess is at the YMCA.

:: Helping Hands Giving Hearts Craft Project ::
Join us for this service project making simple crafts and cards for the shut-in elderly of Jasper County. The craft and card will be donated to the Meal on Wheels program.
They in turn will distribute the gift during the holiday times. No skill is required, just helping hands, giving hearts, and your time.
If you can’t stay the entire time, that is fine. All supplies will be provided by the YMCA.
Who: All ages (Eight and younger must be accompanied by an adult)

:: Free Art ::
Join us once a month for free seasonal art and craft projects in Studio C at the YMCA. Sponsored by grants from the Wal-Mart.

Design your own special seasonal message to place in a decorated message bottle.
