Partner With Youth Fund 
The Newton Y is very proud to be able to offer hundreds of programs to Jasper County communities. We are even more proud that we can do so even if some members have circumstances by which they cannot afford our services. That’s where the Newton Y’s Partnering With Youth Fund comes into play. 

The Partner with Youth Fund annually provides more than $125,000 in memberships, program fees and childcare assistance to more than 900 area youth, adults, and families.  Each year, YMCA staff and volunteers participate in the Partner with Youth Fund Drive.

In 2011 the campaign brought in just over $50,000 in donations, while the Jasper County United Way Granted awarded was just under $25,000. Every cent of this money is used for the sole purpose of providing memberships, programs, and childcare to those in need.

Unfortunately, the Partner with Youth Fund falls nearly $50,000 shy of the actual financial assistance costs.
