School Out Trips
School is out and the kids need something to do and the Y has just the thing. Send your child on a Summer Fun Trip. All children, ages 7 to 12 years old, are welcome to attend and join in on the fun. Children can be dropped off at 8 a.m. and will be available for pickup upon arrival back from that day’s trip at approximately 5 p.m. (These programs are not scholarshipped due to ticket and transportation costs).
• Planet X in Cedar Rapids (laser tag, mini-golf, bumper cars, rock climbing, space ball and more)
When: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Jan. 13
Who: Fourth- through eighth-grade students
Fees: $40 Y member; $50 Non-member
• Des Moines Science Center
When: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Feb. 17
Who: Fourth- through eighth-grade students
Fees: $35 Y member; $45 Non-member
