All art classes are now held at the Y2 facility (former Aces building),1620 N. 11th Ave. E.

Wreaths
Create wreaths from a variety of materials for the different seasons.
Who: Children 5 and older
When: Thursday 7-8 p.m.

Tile Painting
Using a ceramic tile create a seasonal painting with ceramic paint.
Who: Children 8 and older
When: Monday 6-7 p.m.

Felt Creations
Who: Children 7 and older
When: Monday 6:30-7:15 p.m.
Jan. 9-Heart Sachets-felt hearts embellished with beads, sequins, and stuffed with scented fiber fill. Simple sewing
Feb. 13-Shamrock Treasure Box: Glittered shamrock showcased on a decorated box
March 12-Easter Containers: Cover a container with your favorite decorated felt Easter shapes.
April 9-Glove & Felt Duster: Using a glove, felt and fiberfill create the perfect duster. Makes a great Mother’s day gift.
May 14–Bean Bag Toss Game: Make a bean bag toss game that your entire family can enjoy.

Bath Buckets!
Who: Children 7 years old and older
When: Monday 7-7:30 p.m.
March 5, 12 and 26-Create a bath bucket filled with a homemade bath mitt (simple sewing), homemade bath paints, and bath toys. Makes a great gift!
April 2, 9 and 16-Create a bath bucket filled with a homemade bath mitt (simple sewing), homemade bath oil, milk bath and sugar scrub.

Paper Flowers
Learn how to make a variety of the paper flowers that will brighten your day. The best thing is that these flowers stay beautiful for a long time. Once you learn how to make them you can and you can make more to share with family and friends.

Message Puzzle In A Bottle
Design your own special seasonal message to place in a decorated message bottle. The perfect gift for someone special.
Who: All ages (under 8 must be accompanied by an adult)

Edible Art
Learn a variety of techniques while creating yummy art. Several projects will involve simple cake decorating. Everything is edible and you actually get to play with your food. The best part is the mess is at the YMCA.
